For a moment there, Rex was stunned—his eyes opened wide at the unexpected.

He could feel Calidora fed him blood mouth-to-mouth.

A pungent iron taste assaulted his tastebuds at this process, but shockingly, the taste turned sweet as he gulped down blood. Feeling that it was not enough, Calidora placed her bleeding wrist between their lips and let the blood drip into Rex\'s mouth.

She did it with a surprising passion, and thoroughly cleaned Rex\'s mouth with her tongue.

Each crevice was not safe from Calidora\'s relentless but soft tongue.

But soon Rex recovered as he forced his body to gather strength.

Not going to accept himself being toyed around like this—especially after the earlier chase, Rex called it enough, and grabbed her neck with his big hand. Rex pushed her away, wiping the blood from his mouth, and lifted her up as he stood up.

I need to train her to behave. Seems like I couldn\'t treat her like a regular person.

Even at this, Calidora was still smiling—looking fixed at his lips in satisfaction.

"Enough playing around, Calidora, I never said anything about being exclusive to you. In fact, you should be happy that I kept you around because of that child inside your belly" Rex, with a deeper tone muttered—his eyes squinting in seriousness. "Keep this up and after that child is born, I might have to make you leave"

"A child needs a mother" Calidora replied firmly. "I\'m sure you know that already, dear"

Regardless of Rex\'s sour expression, she knew that she had the upper hand.

Nothing would change that in this matter.

"Hmm... I expected you to say that," Rex smirked in response. "I don\'t know if you know this, but I like someone who is obedient the most. Being with Evelyn, Adhara, or even Gistella is a lot better than being with you. Keep this up and they will hog my time to themselves. Do you know what I mean, Calidora?"

"Perhaps, I might like them so much to give anything they asked," He added, smirking wider.

Upon hearing this, Calidora\'s expression tightened.

Despite the message Rex conveyed being vague—she knew what he meant instantly, it was troubling, and she could feel her blood boiling just from the thought of it. She had the upper hand against the others right now, but if that happened, her effort would be a waste.

Rex nodded inwardly seeing that Calidora was calming down visibly.

He felt a pang in his mind after the appearance of the notifications.

Even though these side effects penalty is new, Rex didn\'t want to try them out.

Fearing for more side effects, he puts Calidora down.

Rubbing her neck, Calidora glared at him as if she wanted to eat him whole for the threat.

In response, Rex only smirked back as there was nothing she could do to him.

"Fine, you win this time! But starting from now, your needs are mine to fulfill. Never go to any of them again," Calidora yielded, exhaling roughly. "I am pregnant—however—I am not at the point where I can\'t do anything. Are we clear on that?"

"My needs? Do you mean my sexual drive? Sex?" Rex asked.

Surprisingly, Calidora\'s expression reddened when she heard that, "S- Sex...?"

"It should be the Blodirra crest, but I wouldn\'t be surprised if there will be a silver star instead of my family\'s crest as it\'s yours" She added, rubbing the spot above her navel. It is the place where the last mark would appear.

Rex listened to this attentively before he eventually nodded in understanding.

Just like that, the Second Breath started.
